Dental tourism guide Tijuana, B.C.

(Border city with San Diego, Cal.)

The largest city on the Baja California Peninsula, Tijuana has a strong influence on local economics, education, culture, art, politics, and medical tourism. In 2017 the New York Times recommended Tijuana as the eight best city to visit; With a unique architecture, street art exhibitions, and its diversity of Mexican culture and cultures beyond the border, we can say Tijuana is a city that will hypnotize you.
Here you can walk and immerse yourself in the streets and find local artisans, traditional Mexican food and admire the murals done by local artists.
If you are looking to enjoy a more traditional food we recommend trying The Baja Med Cuisine, a blend of Mexican, Mediterranean and Asian influence where seafood figures heavily along wine, olive oil, arugula and other ingredients found in Baja California.
But if you prefer something more casual you can go to Telefonica Gastro Park, where you can find a wide selection of food trucks that sell from tacos, seafood, Italian, grilled pork and be able to taste local brewers and wines.

Safety tips
We recommend taking common-sense precautions and the same precautions you would take when visiting a foreign city, such as walking alone overnight and avoid traveling after dark on remote roads or isolated highways.
